I have a 3 year-ol kiddo and he loves drinking fruit juice too much.
My friend told me to slow down on the juice since it can also cause cavities and other gastrointestinal problems if my boy continues ingesting large amounts of fruit juice everyday, is that really so? If it's true, then what is the acceptable amount of fruit juice a toddler can take?

too much of something is always bad... nonetheless, younger children aged 1 to 6 years should have only 4 to 6 ounces of juice a day... that is the recommended amount.. you can also verify with your physician.

there are some fruit juice that is naturally high in sugar/sucrose so be very careful about it. again seek your physicians help on what diet shoudl your baby be in.
