Any suggestions for toys?? My son will be 22 months old around the holidays and family members are asking what to get him.

We like to keep things as natural/eco-friendly as possible, so would rather not do lots of plasticy-type toys.
Any suggestions?

something educational, like puzzles made out of numbers or letters and be sure it is big enough for your son not to swallow it. it's important as early as of his age, he will be able to learn count numbers and identify letters. :)
enjoy motherhood!

If you don't already have them, the Melissa & Doug brand puzzles - all hand painted/crafted. My son has about 6 of them, and is obessed lol. Plus he likes that he can take the animal puzzle pieces and play with them. They make them for most levels of develpment. He's had these since he was 1, and for his 2nd birthay.

Books and the wooden puzzles also make a great gift!

I have a 2yr old boy and I've been buying him lots of Picture books which he really enjoys reading. I highly suggest "Your baby can read" Program. It has a 5 CDs and has flash cards as well, it will really get your son's attention.

TOYS THAT ARE SAFE FOR THEM TO PLAY UNSUPERVISED. BECAUSE THERE ARE TIMES THAT WE CAN'T LOOK OVER THEM WHILE PLAYING.
