my niece grinds her teeth when she sleeps? whats the cause of these?

its an unconscious way of grinding your teeth, please go to your dentist to find a possible solution to that problem

i think its not normal, maybe your kid is teething that's why she's grinding it..though always consult an expert to known what's the cause of it

teeth grinding or bruxism is done by a kid or adults from time to time. stress may cause grinding teeth. ask your dentist or doctor the best way to prevent it.

Maybe it is a reflex, much like thumb sucking is a natural reflex for young children. Has she stopped sucking her thumb or the edges of a pillow? My son was like that. After he stopped thumb sucking we were quite happy with it. Only to find out later that he would be sucking on the pillow edges. Took a long time for him to stop that habit.
