we went to a indoor playground last summer, i didnt want to have my 5 yr old to get a heat stroke, but my kid is already afraid to go back there, i think she meet someone who is not nice to her or to anyone...

he or she might not be there... so if your kid likes going there i think it would be ok to go there once to see if the other kid is still there.

brittany, I'm not sure if you have already established the real reason why your kid got scared or why she does not want to back there since you jsut said "it think she met....". Try to verify with your daughter and confirm the real reason for her fear and maybe you can help her overcome that sense of fear.

...i'd have to agree with Tamara. There are a lot of possible factors why your daughter acted the way she did or felt the way she felt.

...eLeOnor, huh? waddaya mean 'wit "it would be ok to go there once to see if the other kid is still there"???? LOL!

btw, last summer was almost a year ago. so your kid so be over this by now.
why deprive your kid of a good playground just because of something so trivial? you'll be with her wont you? this can teach your child survival instincts.

to sugarNspice:

she's scared of the other kid/person isn't she?
