What's the best age for a child to join or go for a summer camp?

As a parent, I think I feel like going with my child if she or he decided to join summer camp.

groups or organization that does summer camps has terms and conditions for what would be the appropriate age for a child to join the camp. but in my opinion, a 4 year old can already join.

i think it would be 6 years old for a summer camp

I agree with lollyjeans. 6 years old child is fairly responsible joining summer camp.

Summer camp is an option for letting your child to be responsible in their own. More fun and learnings.

Age 7 or 8, they're old enough to join summer camp. Of course you have to check the organizers of the said camp. As the parent that is your responsibility to make sure that the organizers have everything covered. Get feedback from other parents who already had their kids join the camp. Ask other kids if they had fun and all that during their stay.

it is case to case basis. it should be decision of both parents and the child.
