do you have a cold remedy for toddlers that is natural?

Felicity - December 26th, 2010 2:45 AM

diluted orange juice. this is rich in vitamin C and should take care of her cold.

water. just give your child some extra water and he should be fine in a couple of days. I also use a humidifier to help clear lungs and nasal passages.

i agree with Felicity. everytime i have a cold i take extra vitamin C. this should work with your toddler too.

if he or she is not feverish then a bath can really do wonders with your breathing and nasal passages.

orange juice. works very good!

how about some Vick's vaporub on their chest? My oldest really likes the menthol feeling and it clears up his nasal passages.

i think the Vit C is good for prevention. i give doctor prescribed medication for their cold.

DaNiElLe - January 2nd, 2011 3:08 AM

water is always good. but i think even though OJ is good for prevention boosting levels of Vit C in the body can help fight against the cold virus.

thanks for the input! i give the kids vit C but it seems that the weather is really making it more hospitable for the cold virus!

the weather can wreak havoc on the health. but you can give them vitamins for extra protection.
