hi guys! im bothered with my son's current "behavior" (for the lack of a better term)... he is 4 and he has never wet the bed foralmost a year now but i noticed that after he got hospitalized for a viral infection he started to wet his bed again... why is that?

hi karen.
that could actually just be a case of regression. Usually when a child is stressed or is under pressure (like getting sick) they regress seem to regress to an earlier stage (like wetting the bed). My daughter had a similar experience with your son and that was what the doctor explained to me. Just keep your calm, everything will be back to normal as soon as our child gets/feels better.

i agree. just give him time to readjust and remind him that he needs to pee on the toilet and not on the bed/

that happened to my little girl too. She met an accident while she was riding her bicycle. Though it was minor, it must have caused trauma enough to make her pee in her pj's when she slept. it eventually went away.
