When I was in high school I had a study group for subjects that I found hard. It was basically a group of my classmates helping each other. I am thinking of organizing one for my 10 year old for maths. Any pro's and con's you guys can think of for this idea?

Pro: If you have good students in your study group then you get free tutoring.

Cons: Kids can use it as an excuse to just talk and hang out.
