my son is always losing and forgetting his stuff at school. what are some cool ways of tagging his belongings?

my MIL who likes to embroider make nametags that she sews on my kid's school clothes. for stuff that you can't sew on, how about personalized stickers?

something like this belongs to "Your Child's name" that he can stick onto books, notebooks pencil cases etc.

I think you can buy labels from your local school supply store. or you can print one from your computer or laptop.

I like cara_donnie's suggestion because it is economical and during these hard times it is important to save.

i have some personalized stickers made for them. also you can buy those stickers wherein you can add their names with permanent marker.

for things like his jacket I think you can sew in his name at the back. this is more permanent.

I put permanent marker on the inside of their jackets. I also put sticker labels on their other stuff.

I also like the embroidering idea.

in stuff like handkerchiefs and jackets I embroider their names. but in lunch boxes or bags then i just buy stick on labels.

i find the stickers working. this is because he sticks them himself and then if they get lost the teacher just puts them in his table or cubbie hole.
