my son is musically inclined. he is 6 and can already play the piano and is now starting on the violin. problem is we are strapped for cash what with the recession and everything. do you guys know if there are state sponsored musical programs that can help enrich my son's love for music?

wow... you should check out your local civic center. perhaps they have instuments there and musical pieces that you can help yourselves to.

wow impressive the violin at his age. I played the violin too in my teens and know how hard it is to master. I got a second hand violin from a pawn shop. perhaps you can check out pawn shops for your son's violin.
