Hello everyone,
I am currently an expectant mother (yippy 2weeks left) and carrying out a research on how perceptions on work environments and self affect performance before and during pregnancy and in early motherhood. basically, I do not hope to generalise on any information given to me but would want to gain insights on your experiences. What were your performance ratings like before pregnancy? Your anxieties about working while pregnant? How did you cope with them? How did your relationships with colleagues and superiors change over these different phases? Basically just let me in on your experiences during these phases as it relates to you carrying out you job and how you felt about being pregnant and working or a working mum.
Please be rest assured that the information here is very confidential and are only for academic purposes. also they are of personal relevance to me as a soon to be mother and also just leaving the workforce. I would really appreciate your posts and will definitely give you updates on my findings.

THANK YOU

I was pregnant during my 4th year in college. Working on thesis and all the exams was very exhausting and very overwhelming. Pregnancy is very delicate and high risk. I was blessed that I had no morning sickness and anxieties. I was healthy and happy during my pregnancy. I always consider my doctors advices. Vitamins, sleep whenever you can, healthy food and drinks. Exercise too! More laugh and positivity!!! :)

Take care!!! :)

Women must have a healthy and happy pregnancy. I would recommend to my close friends to stay at home and do household chores, exercise or prepare some things for the new baby when they get to the 5th month of their pregnancy.
