just gave birth and need to lose weight. please post your tips and share with me your exercises that helped you lose weight post pregnancy. thanks1

It took me a year and a half to shed the 60+ pounds I gained during pregnancy. so my tip is to take it slow and give yourself time. I took up walking via treadmill for 30 minutes a day 3 months after giving birth. I later increased it to 45 minutes and then later on 1 hour. I ate a balanced diet everyday and avoided cola and sweets.

yoga! very relaxing. while it wont melt away the pounds instantly I find it calming. which helps if you have 3 kids like me!

I went on a slim fast diet about 6 months after giving birth. this is also the time i stopped breastfeeding. i also go to the gym 3x a week and lost all my baby weight within 1.5 years after giving birth.

I still have to lose my baby weight... sigh... but I keep track of what I eat. this way I dont gain too much. coz i know that losing it is so hard!

I still have some of my baby weight and I am fine with it. One of the advantages of just giving birth is the cleavage! LOL... anyway just exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. This can be brisk walking or some light cardio. Also eat a balanced diet.

the more kids you have the harder it is to lose the weight. ive been over my ideal weight since i first gave birth! so my tip is to take it easy and to not be too hard on yourself. it is important to be healthy but being the right weight does not mean you are really healthy!

exercise everyday for at least 30 minutes. eat small meals frequently to stave off hunger!

just make sure you exercise everyday! of course eating right also plays a big role...

how about taking up boxing or muay thai? my sister lost a lot of weight with these forms of exercise.

hit the gym! its a good way to lose weight and also to relieve stress!
