maybe you use stockings or hose a lot. the pressure from the garter can cause varicose veins. |

i think Honey's explanation has merit compared to varicose veins being caused by high heels. I wear stockings and hells to. Have some varicose veins but nothing really bad. |

i think so. my mom always told me to stop wearing heels over 3 inches because they can cause varicose veins. I actually have a few behind my knee. but they're more like spider veins than actual varicose veins. |

i wear high heels too but i dont have any varicose veins even at the back of my knees. |

i dont wear heels all the time but have some spidery looking veins too. as a nurse i spend lots of time standing up and i think this the reason for my varicose veins. |
