every time we go for a vacation or do some family activities i really want ti plan ahead of time. even in buying some things i do plan it in order to set the budget. my husband is not that kind of person but he got used to it now. it is more advantageous on our part but sometimes it disappoints me if things would not result to how it is planned.

You should also include in your planning a "what if" plan or the so called plan B. Of course it would be very disappointing on your part as a planner but you also also consider all the factors that might affect your plan.

I AM NOT GOOD IN PLANNING. I JUST DEPEND ON OTHER PEOPLE FOR PLANNING A VACATION BUT I AM GOOD IN ORGANIZING THINGS. PUTTING THINGS IN GOOD USE AND BRINGING ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE NEEDED.

planning is good at times especially when you do a long-term vacation and that is too far away from home. but for vacations that are short-terms, it's nice to try unplanned once in a while, that's all where you get the excitement and fun part.

planning ahead is something that you should do if you are targeting for a vacation with your family. it's important to list down all the important things you and your family needs. this is a good way to avoid bringing thing that are not or less important and will only lead you to carry bulk unused luggage.

it's the best idea to plan ahead for long travels together with your family. in this way, you will avoid anything that will hinder you guys to have a great deal on your vacation.

i totally agree with all of you. thanks for sharing too. i guess most women are good in planning ahead of time.

sometimes we tend to get very excited with activities like long vacation and the like. that is why it is important to plan days ahead so you can avoid any circumstances that may jeopardize the vacation.

yes i agree with planning ahead but don't ever think that it has no disadvantages too. just don't over use it to everything that you do because things might turn out to be boring.

JoyceJones - November 14th, 2010 9:09 PM

It can be boring when you plan everything and there nothing more to look forward because you already knew what will happen. One scenario also is when you have it planned and something better comes up but you can't change the original plan anymore, that could also be boring.
