i have two kids. 2 and 6. I want to buy a new car and I was thinking of an SUV instead of a station wagon... because that's just so 1980's. Something cool like the Ford Escape is within my budget. I also like the Mazda CX9. I like the mid sized one since gas prices are so expensive in our state!

what are your other SUV suggestions?

the escape is OK especially since they have hybrid models which really helps in terms of gas. we have a toyota highlander which is also a hybrid! its really great plus japanese cares are really value for money. i wanted to buy the Caddy Escalade but it was really beyond our budget.

have fun looking for suvs!

i agree. station wagons look so old fashioned. i got rid of my volvo a couple of years ago and went for a GMC ARcadia. You should look into this SUV. Easy to drive and good mileage!

I am a fan of Japanese cars because they tend to last longer than American made ones (sorry Uncle Sam!). Anyway the Honda CRV is really a blast to drive. I've been driving mine for 5 years and like Chloe I am thinking of buying a new SUV and I really like the 2010 CRV Model. You should also check this out!
