do you think an all protein diet is healthy?

mi@ - December 29th, 2010 4:29 AM

yes. but make sure you get some fiber too!

protein is good in melting fat. this is why bodybuilders drink milk so that they can speed up muscle build up and melt away fat.

yes. protein is good for the body. i am not sure that going protein all the way is good. we need different kinds of vitamins and minerals in the body so that it can function correctly.

instead of all protein it should be high protein. our body needs vitamins and minerals for it to function correctly. we even need fat and cholesterol but only at low levels.

its hard to have just all protein. plus you need other vitamins and minerals too. i think a balanced diet is healthier than an all protein one.

IMO not so. because we all need vitamins and nutrients found in other food sources. Meat is rich in protein but vitamins and minerals can be found in vegetables and fruits. We also need carbohydrates.

protein only? no veggies? this will make you constipated!

anyway, i dont think an all protein diet is the way to go. i prefer high protein low carb diet. also eat as much veggies as you can. this is where we get essential vitamins and minerals.
