if you had an adopted child would you tell him immediately or hide it from him/her?

i would tell right from the start that he or she were adopted. they're gonna find out eventually and if you hide it and they find out anyway, they are gonna get hurt.

i integrate it in our daily life that he or she was adopted. i had a friend who found out when she got sick that she was adopted and she was really hurt that her foster parents hid it from her.

i would tell immediately too. they will know sooner or later and it is better if sooner to spare them from the pain.

i was adopted and knew about it from the start. I also did not try to look for my birth parents.

for the record I am glad that my parents let me know about it from the start. it would have hurt to find out about it at a later time.

yes. this is important so she wont get confused. besides so what if she is adopted? so long as she is loved and cared for.
