At birth, kids with Down syndrome are usually of average size, but they tend to grow at a slower pace and remain small compared to other kids their age. BAbies have low muscle town so you will have motor problems and feeding problems. As they grow older they have delays in speech and learning. They will have problems dressing, feeding themselves and going to the toilet. |

Its also quite easy to spot kids with this disease. They usually have round faces with ears set lower than usual. They also have locomotor problems and I've encountered a 10 year old with this problem who is in a wheelchair. |
