Is it true that if you were already affected by chicken pox during your younger years, you won't acquire it anymore?? my officemate has chicken pox and I'm scared that I might acquire it again and might spread the virus at home. They told me ot to worry since I've had it before... is it true??

you can actually still acquire chicken pox IF your immune system is too low... coz virus do also mutate so sometimes, immunization won't help much.. it's still important though to get immunization and of course keep a healthy immune system..

No. Chickenpox pox is transfered from the infected person to the next via direct contact.
