hey moms! my daughter loves singing! she is pretty good at it too. A friend of mine told me that I should formally enroll her to a voice lesson/class, so she would know how to use her voice correctly. She also told me that improper usage of the voice can cause harm since it can strain his vocal cords. Is that true? I can't afford voice class for now.

You can probably check out videos that probably would teach good singing techniques that you can relay to your little girl. It is actually a fact that improper usage of our voice (not limited to singing) can strain our voice box.

if your kid sounds tired of singing, thats usually it. overuse is one way of using it incorrectly. enrolling to voice lesson can mean 2 things. your loaded or you want to your kids talent to shine!

I agree on the enrolling. With good training it will hone your kid's voice and perhaps she can sing professionally in the future. It is a good investment.

you can also try a voice coach. he can give one on one lesson with your child so it is a more centered way of learning.

If she is really interested then get her a voice coach. She will get training that she needs and she can explore this talent of hers.
