If your child were born autistic where is the first place you should go to for assistance? why?

A professional who can evaluate how severe the autism is. With autism early intervention is important. If they are taught early how to cope then they have a great chance of improving.

There is no cure for autism, but doctors, therapists, and special teachers can help kids with autism overcome or adjust to many difficulties. So if the autism is detected early then the kids are able to overcome this earlier.

The best people to diagnose this are child psychologists and special education teachers.
