My sister wants to do away with her baby showers as she already has a lot of stuff from her previous pregnancy. How do I tell her best friend no?

Just explain the reason why she does not want a shower. I'm sure the friend will understand.

A baby shower is optional. You dont have to have one everytime you're pregnant. It used to be just for your oldest child. Now the trend is for every child.

A firm no should do it. It's not like she needs the stuff as you said.
