i seldom see baby showers on movies or in TV but i always see them sitting in the couch and giving gifts for the mom to be? is this for real?

yeah! that is absolutely correct! nice catch cheesy. but i think all baby showers should be simple and intimate where mothers can share their experience to the expecting mom.

its just a party where friend and family gift the mom-to-be some baby gifts. they usually sit because the mom is pregnant :)
