Here is a simple kids craft that any child can do! You’ll need the following:
- White and pink construction paper (or use poster board for something more durable)
- Scissors
- Glue, tape or stapler
- Measuring tape
- Markers, crayons, stickers, stamps (optional)
1. Measure your child’s head and cut out the appropriate sized strip from white construction paper. The strip should be at least 2 inches wide (you may want to cut strip an extra inch or two in length).
2. Also from the white construction paper, cut out two large bunny ears, at least 8 inches long and 3 inches wide
3. Using the pink construction paper, cut out two smaller inner ears. Glue these onto the white ears
4. Glue the ears onto the band so that they will sit at the back of the head
5. Decorate band (optional)
6. Secure band to fit your child’s head. Cut off any excess band.
