there's a sort of round rash in my young boy's right leg. It looks like a ringworm. so far i've only applied anti-itch creams coz he complains that it's very itchy. what's the appropriate medication for ringworms?

Any topical anti-fungal cream can be used as treatment. Usually, it takes 2 weeks or more before you can see improvement.

yes that is one way to get ring worms. you can also get them from direct contact with an infected person.

Are you sure its ringworms? Is your kid having a burning sensation on the part of the skin where the irritation is?

Ringworms are also zoonotic in that they can be transferred from animals to humans, and vice versa. That is why I am discouraged with having pets around the house while I have a baby because of possible transmitted diseases from animals.
