I keep watch on my kids diet, but his friends in school are obese. i don't want him to get the idea that im not feeding him enough, any advise?

You just simply have to explain to him that being healthy does not mean you have to be big. Teach your child about healthy and balanced diet and how eating too much can affect one's health..

why would he think you're not feeding him enough just because he has fat friends? dont the fat kids get teased in school? this is usually incentive enough for kids to not be fat.

Instead of planting the idea that you are not feeding him enough, how about focusing on feeding him healthy foods. Obese kids are obese not only because of poor diet choices but also because of inactivity. So if you want a healthy child, give him healthy food and keep him active.

Obesity can be avoided with proper diet and exercise. If you give your kids the right food and keep them active then you dont need to be worried about obesity.
