Being a mom and a wife could really be stressful at times... Are there any easy and short relaxation techniques that we can do to somehow relieve us from the tension?

you can try belly breathing... you'll increase the amount of air you take in with each breath if you concentrate on making your abdomen move out as you inhale and in as you exhale. This increases the oxygen to your brain and can produce a relaxing effect. Try it! that sure shouls be simple ;)

Meditating does a body and mind good. Just take 15 minutes for yourself and channel your thoughts to anything happy and relaxing. Picture yourself on a lonely island relaxing and sipping a pina colada. That usually works for me.

I go to a spa - alone. No girlfriends, no relatives and no kids. Just me. I get a massage and a facial. Just a once a month thing so that I can have time to pamper myself and escape the coop for a bit!
