Before you can even ask you child to listen to you, do the "listening" first. try to make a connection and then address what you want. Stay brief, direct and simple. Give choices. |

You can use a tracker to monitor your child's growth. Plot your child's weight and height with the use of a growth chart. Then you can compare if your child's growth meets the normal range. |

Lindsay, make clear objectives as to why you are talking to him. One, let him know what behavior bothers you, how it makes you feel and the reason why you feel that way. Help him understand your side... and ofcourse, listen to him as well. |

is he hyperactive? does he not pay attention? perhaps he has ADD or ADHD. being inattentive is usually one of the symptoms. |

How about turning the shoes around him? If he tells you something act like he does. And then tell him that you're immitating him. This will get the message across fast. |
