I see these child actors all the time and was wonder what you girls think of them. Do you think working this early has an effect on them?

As long as their having fun I dont see anything wrong with being a child actor. It can build up character and work ethic at an early age. This is OK for me as long as the money earned by the child is saved up for his future education.

What I heard is different. Many child actors, if they continue to be actors until later on in their lives, don't get to enjoy things that normal kids do.

Why?

Obviously they are too busy on movie projects, shooting scenes and travel all the time. They mature too quickly ahead of their age too.

So long as the child is not exploited is alright with me. I saw an interview with Dakota Fanning and after being tutored she is finally attending high school. I think kids like her are privileged to experience both sides of the coin and experience like this can really build character.
