i'm bothered with my son's breath... it really has a foul smell even if he constantly brush his teeth. i also made him use a mouth wash but to no avail... i don't see any cavities.. what could be wrong?

we're not really dentist, maybe we can him check. it could mean there's more than his bad breath

Brushing the teeth may not be enough. Dental floss and cleaning the tongue are also necessary measures for a complete oral hygiene.

he has halitosis. there is treatment for this. you need to see a pediatrician and then your dentist. :)

according to a dental guide on the web:

"Halitosis in children is often due to the decomposition of mucus secretions and debris which accumulate on the tongue, in the nose, and between the teeth."

So it is best to bring him to a dentist to formulate a dental hygiene plan.
